THE COMPANY

Our company operates in the industrial site of Bussi sul Tirino (PE) with a wholly-owned factory area of 23 hectars, in which the production plants of basic chemicals (Chlorine-Soda line), fine chemicals (Eureco line), polyalluminium chloride (PAC line) and hydropower are located.

Our products are used in several industrial fields, among which the pharmaceutical, food and detergents ones. Furthermore, SCB is constantly involved in the development of innovative products/processes focused on the environmental sustainability with special reference to the water treatment sector.

The site of Bussi sul Tirino can be considered one of the historical establishments of the Italian chemical industry and  its foundation dates back to 1903. From the beginning, the company has turned its attention to basic and fine chemicals and in particular to the production of chlorine and its derivatives.

PLANTS

The site of Società Chimica Bussi extends over a significant surface, in which pilot and production plants for fine chemicals intermediate products are also present; further new plants could also be located in this area in case there are third parties interested in sharing their development projects with SCB, taking advantage from the research abilities, the facilities and the well-established industrial skills offered by our company.

As a matter of fact, the plant operates with an RIU status and has a significant production capacity of thermal power and hot water, besides being equipped with a modern groundwater treatment facility also designed for the complete purification of all waters deriving from industrial processes.
